Planner/Christmas Layout

It's finally Christmas week!
Eeek! Who else is excited!? I know I am! I love to cruise around and seeing all of the beautiful lights people put up in their homes and watching Christmas home decore videos, please tell me im not the only one LOL.
Anyway, in this blog I wanted to show you a few ways you can personalize and decorate your planner. I always find it super easy and fun to do. You dont need to have a super fancy or expensive planner. Infact, I got this one from Walmart for about 7 bucks. You can even make your own at home DIY planner by using materials you may already have.

Lets get started! So for this weekly layout I really wanted to add some of the holiday colors and I found that recollections at Michaels craft store came out with some really affordable planner supplies. I found some really cute washi tape and gold foiled sticky notes and thought they would be perfect for this.
There is no certain way to decorate your planner, you can totally customize it to how ever you want. A fun thing you can do to add a little bit of pop to your spread is to print out any picture from google. It can be a snowman, gingerbread man, raindeer, santa, ect. You just have to cut it out and add some adhesive and there you go! You can also make dividers out of Christmas themed cardstock paper.
There is so many ideas you can DIY when it comes to decorating your planner. So I decided to make this Christmas tree. I love making my own crafts and although it didnt come out perfect, at least I can say I tried LOL. The first thing I did was draw out the christmas tree to shape and size I wanted and retraced the first one to make two. I left enough space in the bottom for a paperclip and I glued the rest back to back. Then I did the same for the star and cut out little bits of construction paper to decorate.
I really wanted to show you that decorating doesnt have to be too overwhelming or look exaggerated. It can be a fun hobby for everybody. I would love to hear your thoughts and see how you decorated yours. Tag me on Instagram @beelovely18
