Ways to make you want to be productive

Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog! So, for the past few days I have been feeling a little bit in a funk and I swear I just want to lay in bed all day and watch Netflix LOL. However, today I woke up and knew I had to change things up. I am going to be sharing with you guys 5 things that make you lift up and make you want to be productive.

The first and most obvious is coffee. Coffee is just one of those things that I must have in order to function especially on days when I have to wake up at 5am. I usually only drink coffee about four times a week and try to stay away from it on days when i dont need it. Another great alternative is green tea.

The second thing that makes me feel awake and ready for the day is taking a shower, washing my face, and brushing my teeth. I guess its just something about feeling clean LOL. I hate to feel drowsy and sluggish and to me this is just one way to feel fresh and lifted.

The third thing is doing my hair. Now, we all have those days when we have messy hair and we dont care but I personally feel that making an effort once in a while is a good thing. Sometimes we just need a change of look. I totally hate being in "bed hair" all day even if I am not going anywhere. A simple pony tail or bun works just as great.

The fourth thing is makeup. Something about makeup that makes us feel glamorous, lifted, and powerful. Now, this might sound a little funny to you guys but on days when I feel sluggish and know I have lots of chores to do I like to put on a little bit of mascara and lipstick. It makes me feel like I can conquer anything LOL. I wear makeup mostly for work but I take it off as soon as I get home because I like for my face to be able to breath and there is definitely lots of days that I like to be makeup free.

The fifth and most important thing is having a clean atmosphere. Whether its your room, house or office. I love to be organized in everything and everywhere! Having a list of daily to dos, list of chores or simply just checking things off of your planner helps a lot. I feel more relaxed and the simple fact of having a clean space makes you work better and be more productive.

Rimmel vs. Maybelline

Hello my loves, welcome back to my blog!! Today I wanted to compare and talk to you guys about two drugstore powders. I love to test out different brands and products because my skin is always changing from normal to oily depending on the season.

I have been using Rimmels transparent powder forever and I absolutely love it! I talked about it a few blogs prior and mentioned how it fits any skin tone and its perfect for setting your foundation or concealer.

So, I might be on the late train with this Maybelline fit me pressed powder but I picked it up because I heard everyone raving about it when it first came out and now I totally get why.

Maybelline always has cute packaging! I love love loveee how compact this powder is because inside it comes with a nice size mirror and sponge which is perfect for when you travel.

Lets talk about the actual product..OMG I cannot believe where Ive been LOL. When you apply this over your foundation it goes on so smooth. It covers any imperfections that the foundation might of not and its so easy to blend. This is definitely going to become another one of my favorite powders. The only con is that you have to reapply every 5-6 hours if you have oily skin.

Compared to Rimmels transparent powder which can literally last you all day and has a lot more product.
Rimmels powder is also more affordable by like two dollars depending on where you buy it.
They are both super affordable and really great brands. Let me know on the comments down below if you have tried any of these and what you think of it.

Thanks for reading and until next time!

Affordable drugstore highlighters and matte lipsticks review

Hello my beauties, welcome back to my blog!!
You know those days when you go to your local Target and walk down the makeup aisle just to see whats new..thats me everytime and I do not come out empty handed lol. So this year I feel like Wet n Wild and Elf have been stepping up their game in so many levels. Can we just first talk about how incredibly pigmented their products are and their packaging keeps on getting better and better.

Drugstore makeup in general has been around for years but for some reason Wet n Wild and Elf along with a few other drugstore brands have always kept their cosmetics extremely affordable while other brands keep going up.
Something I really love about Elf cosmetics and WetnWild is that their prices are always consistent and their products just keep getting better.
I was literally able to buy 3 highlighters and 2 lipsticks for less than $20!

The first products I will show you are these pinky nude lipsticks from Wet n Wild. The top shade is in the color Wineroom and the bottom is in the shade In the flesh. As you can see in the picture Wine Room is a lot more pink and vibrant and In the flesh is more of a lighter neutral pink color. These lipsticks dry out matte but dont leave your lips too dry as other matte lipsticks would. They are only 2 dollars each and come in 26 different shades.

The first two highlighters that I will show you are by Wet n Wild cosmetics. The top shade is in the color Crown of my canopy. I was going back and forth between weather or not to pick this shade up because as you can see it is very gold and orange looking and not very much my style. The last thing I want is to look like a cake face bronzed up clown lol. But since I love playing with new makeup I had to get it and let me just say that I was very wrong about this shade. It might look super dark, especially for my skin tone but when I put it on it looks stunning. Especially at night time! This is the perfect shade to wear to a party or simply going out at night. You can build up the color and even match it with some brown tone eyeshadow on your eyes so it wont look too harsh.
The second highlighter is in the shade When the nude strikes. The formula of this highlighter is very creamy and the packaging is a rolling stick. It is a very beautiful highlighter with pink undertones. It looks very pretty in natural daylight and at night. It lasts a very long time. I feel like both of these highlighters pop out more if you spray some makeup setting spray but both are buildable and apply easily.

The last highlighter is by Elf cosmetics in the shade Moonlight pearls. First of all, look at the packaging!! Love it! This shade is more on the white tone side but has a light amount of pink undertones in my opinion. It is a very beautiful shade as well. I did notice that with this highlighter you definitely have to build it up if you want it to be intense. I also realized that you kind of have to dig through the first layer to get to where most of the pigment is. In general I am very pleased about it because I love the fact that you can build it up little by little.

So that completes my mini drugstore review. Let me know on the comments down below or tag me on instagram @biancaerrisuriz which one of these you have or would like to try out.

What I Carry On My Makeup Bag

Hello my beauties, welcome back to my blog. Today I will be sharing with you the top 7 cosmetic products I carry in my purse.
I often like to switch products depending on the seasons and let me confess to you that I always end up carrying way more than I need. I swear I found like four lipsticks in the bottom of my purse the other day.
Anyway, lets get into my top 7 cosmetic products to go.
The number one product that I need in my makeup bag is a translucent powder. I have combination skin, but during the spring and summer months my skin tends to get more on the greasy side. The one drugstore powder I have been loving for a few years now is by Rimmel London in the shade 001 Transparent. It fits any skin color and is super easy to blend.
The second product I cannot leave the house without is a matte lippie. So wether its a liquid or regular lipstick I like to change depending on my makeup look for that day. Sometimes I like a nude low tone lipstick to go with a more natural look or sometimes I like to tone it up a bit and go with a more edgy look. I think that lipsticks are so much fun to play with and in my opinion you can totally rock any shade any time of the season depending on how you style yourself. This one is in the color Give Me Mocha by Wet n Wild.
The third product I cant live without is for my eyebrows. Brows is what shapes your face and adds dimension. I have very sparse eyebrows and I totally need something to help these babys out. I usually gravitate more to powders than pencils. Anastasia has amazing brow products but the drugstore has some really great products for a fraction of the price.
The next product is a blush by Sephora called Tea Rose Tickle and I really love this specific shade because of its color. It fits right in as a bronzer and blush which are perfect to take on the go just to add color to your face.
My fifth product would be a good mascara. Sometimes its really hard to find a mascara that gives you length and volume in the drugstore but this one my Maybelline is exactly what I need. It makes my eyelashes look longer and thicker and also lifts them up. Another drugstore mascara that I love is Telescopic by Loreal.
The next product would definitely be a concealer. They are good to cover up imperfections and under eye circles especially after a long day. I normally dont really use it all the time but its always good to have just in case.
The last and final product is an eyeliner. This one is one of those products that I put on in the morning when I do my makeup and dont really use it again but its also good to have. It makes a dramatic difference when you are trying to change up your look.
Dont forget to also carry brushes because they make applying makeup so much easier.

So that is all my loves. Comment down below or tag me on Instagram: @beelovely18 with a picture of your top two products you cannot leave the house without.

Planner accessories and more (Haul)

It's officially 2017!! Happy New Year my loves and welcome back to my blog! I have been purchasing more planner accessories because I love to create layouts and I love to play with stickers. This is not a all in one day purchase but a few days. All items are affordable and you can pick them up at your nearest Target or Michaels craft store.
Earlier this month Target had all christmas decor 50% off so I took advantage of the opportunity. Even though most things were already gone I was still able to find a few things. Michaels had up to 70% off christmas items and 30% off planner accessories. Now all the valentines day stuff is out and I cant wait to go snatch up more goodies, but for now I will show you what I got in this haul.

The first item I got were these adorable pompoms. They retail for $1 but were 50% off so I got them for .50 cents! That's insane!! I was so excited and I cant wait to use them.

I also found these stocking stickers, sticky notes and paper chain package all for 50% off also. So cute!!

From Michaels craft store I found these adorable stickers for planning, a pouch that can be inserted into your planner and the rose foil sticky notes at the bottom. The 'lovely' page flags on the right side were a gift from my sister in law and you can find them on the wish app. They are so georgeous! The item that I was most excited about was the pouch. I have been wanting one since forever ago and I found it for 30% off. Original price is 9.99. I like it because it came with paper clips, washi tape, stickers, a ruler, and you can put pens or different accessories of your own in there too.

So Recollections came out with a very affordable set of washi tape. They have two boxes with different styles but I decided to get this one because it comes with all the holiday themed washi tape and it was only $10! That's crazy!! It comes with a good amount and ive been using it a lot these days. I absolutely love it!

The last item I purchased were these stickers and wood clips which I will most likely be using for my Valentine layout. I thought they were so cute and now that they finished putting up all the valentine day stuff I will defenetly be purchasing more items.

I hope you guys liked my first blog haul. Let me know if you guys like reading these types of blogs. Tag me on Instagram: @beelovely18
And let me know which of these items was your fav.

Happy New Year/Planner Layout

2016 brought so many wonderful moments. It has been such a great year for me and I feel that every year brings something new or something to look foward to. I am so excited to see what the future brings.
Todays blog will be about this New Year gold themed planner layout. All the materials I used are from Michaels craft store and Target. I literally only had 3 washi tape rolls that where designed to go with the New Year theme so I had to costomize my own LOL.

I really wanted to add some pop since New Years is all about fireworks and celebration and I wanted something to scream HAPPY NEW YEAR. So I decided to add some hints of foil since it shines. The white strips with gold snow flakes is actually not washi tape, it is just strips of paper that I got from the Target dollar spot. I cut them out so they could be thinner, put some adhesive and placed them down. Dont they look so pretty!?
I also DIY my own clock paper clip because I needed an attention grabber and I put stars, curly stickers, and balloons in empty spaces. I love the way everything looks together.
I hope you guys had an awsome year. Have fun celebrating, stay safe and let me know what your new years resolution is. I would love to hear everyones!!

Planner/Christmas Layout

It's finally Christmas week!
Eeek! Who else is excited!? I know I am! I love to cruise around and seeing all of the beautiful lights people put up in their homes and watching Christmas home decore videos, please tell me im not the only one LOL.
Anyway, in this blog I wanted to show you a few ways you can personalize and decorate your planner. I always find it super easy and fun to do. You dont need to have a super fancy or expensive planner. Infact, I got this one from Walmart for about 7 bucks. You can even make your own at home DIY planner by using materials you may already have.

Lets get started! So for this weekly layout I really wanted to add some of the holiday colors and I found that recollections at Michaels craft store came out with some really affordable planner supplies. I found some really cute washi tape and gold foiled sticky notes and thought they would be perfect for this.
There is no certain way to decorate your planner, you can totally customize it to how ever you want. A fun thing you can do to add a little bit of pop to your spread is to print out any picture from google. It can be a snowman, gingerbread man, raindeer, santa, ect. You just have to cut it out and add some adhesive and there you go! You can also make dividers out of Christmas themed cardstock paper.
There is so many ideas you can DIY when it comes to decorating your planner. So I decided to make this Christmas tree. I love making my own crafts and although it didnt come out perfect, at least I can say I tried LOL. The first thing I did was draw out the christmas tree to shape and size I wanted and retraced the first one to make two. I left enough space in the bottom for a paperclip and I glued the rest back to back. Then I did the same for the star and cut out little bits of construction paper to decorate.
I really wanted to show you that decorating doesnt have to be too overwhelming or look exaggerated. It can be a fun hobby for everybody. I would love to hear your thoughts and see how you decorated yours. Tag me on Instagram @beelovely18
