Planner accessories and more (Haul)

It's officially 2017!! Happy New Year my loves and welcome back to my blog! I have been purchasing more planner accessories because I love to create layouts and I love to play with stickers. This is not a all in one day purchase but a few days. All items are affordable and you can pick them up at your nearest Target or Michaels craft store.

Earlier this month Target had all christmas decor 50% off so I took advantage of the opportunity. Even though most things were already gone I was still able to find a few things. Michaels had up to 70% off christmas items and 30% off planner accessories. Now all the valentines day stuff is out and I cant wait to go snatch up more goodies, but for now I will show you what I got in this haul.

The first item I got were these adorable pompoms. They retail for $1 but were 50% off so I got them for .50 cents! That's insane!! I was so excited and I cant wait to use them.

I also found these stocking stickers, sticky notes and paper chain package all for 50% off also. So cute!!

From Michaels craft store I found these adorable stickers for planning, a pouch that can be inserted into your planner and the rose foil sticky notes at the bottom. The 'lovely' page flags on the right side were a gift from my sister in law and you can find them on the wish app. They are so georgeous! The item that I was most excited about was the pouch. I have been wanting one since forever ago and I found it for 30% off. Original price is 9.99. I like it because it came with paper clips, washi tape, stickers, a ruler, and you can put pens or different accessories of your own in there too.

So Recollections came out with a very affordable set of washi tape. They have two boxes with different styles but I decided to get this one because it comes with all the holiday themed washi tape and it was only $10! That's crazy!! It comes with a good amount and ive been using it a lot these days. I absolutely love it!

The last item I purchased were these stickers and wood clips which I will most likely be using for my Valentine layout. I thought they were so cute and now that they finished putting up all the valentine day stuff I will defenetly be purchasing more items.

Ring wreath and home sign

Hello my beautiful loves and welcome back to my blog. As you all know it is the month of love and today I have some super easy DIYs to share with you as well as Valentines weeks planner layout. The first two DIYs are this home sign and wreath ring. For the home sign all I used was construction paper, cardboard, sharpie, washitape, and glue. The first step is to measure and cut out the construction paper and cardboard as big as you want it to be. Then I traced and colored in the letters. I glued the cardboard to the construction paper and decorated with washi. Super fast and easy to do. For the small wreath ring I used a foam wreath, tissue paper, heart necklace, construction paper, and glue. First I wrapped the wreath with tissue paper all around making sure there was no bald spots. I cut the necklace in four pieces and gued them to each side. Then I cut out hearts of construction paper and glued them down as well. To decorate the top I added the pompom and there you have it, a Valentine inspired ring wreath.

Now, on to the part we all have been waiting for..#valentineweeklylayout For this spread I wanted to incorporate valentine themed colors like reds and pinks but not make it too overwhelming. I added scraps of notepad paper and sticky notes to bring everything together but still keep it valentines inspired. I also made a fox paperclip, envelope and cup of coffee out of construction paper to make the layout standout a little more. My Favorite Green Teas

Now a days there is so many green tea products out in the market. Obviously, not everyone is a fan of them but they are very handy and extremely helpful. My first favorite is the Vanilla Spice Perfect Energy Tea by Yogi. It comes with many organic ingridients and claims to energize the body and focus the mind, which it does. I feel so good after taking this tea. You can drink it warm or with ice. It tastes excactly how it says "vanilla spice", its one of the best tasting teas ive had. My second fav is the Mango green tea by Versana. I love mixing this tea with the Rooibos green tea, it makes the perfect combination! I like taking it in the morning because it does have caffeine. The mango and rooibos tea serve as a good antioxidant and helps you burn fat. My third fav is the chamomile tea. This tea is very famous and well known. I have been drinking this tea ever since i was on my late teens and i love that it helps for different purposes. It helps with detoxifying, inflammation, scratchy throat, cramps, relax, and helps you sleep better too! Green tea is very beneficial for you. There is other brands and kinds that help for different purposes. All of these you can purchase from Walmart or HEB, you can also order them online. Let me know which one is your fav (:

Fall DIY Decor

Hi loves!! Today i will be showing you how to create your own fall decor to spice up your home for the new season. You will need 2 mason jars, popcorn seeds, construction paper, scissors, tape, glue, ribbon, fake leaves, and fake candles. For this DIY you will need a mason jar, if you dont have one you can use any clear glass or bottle. I got these leaves at the dollar store and they work perfect for this project. All you have to do is glue them to the outside of the glass. I tried to overlap some and seperate them by colors. Using a hot glue gun will speed up the process and avoid the mess. When finished put a fake candle and enjoy the fall view.

DiY Pumpkin

For this pumkin DIY you will need construction paper, tape, and ribbon. The first step is to cut out long thin pieces of paper (about 2-3 pages). Then start overlapping the tips and form a star. You should have about 14 outter tips all joined at the center. Gather the outter tips and bring them together at the top. This will form a shape that looks somewhat like a sphere. You can tape or staple them so they can stay in place. Form a cylinder with brown paper for the stem and cut out leaves with green paper. Place them both at the top of the pumpkin, curl up some string and there you have it.. a beautiful DIY pumkin.

Cleaning Your Makeup Brushes

1. Fill a bowl with lukewarm water and place your brushes in there. Add some antibacterial soap and just a tiny amount of extra virgin olive oil to condition them. 2.Place a textured matt in your sink and start swirling your brushes tip on it. The sigma brush cleaning matt is perfect for this because it has different textures, you may purchase it at Sephora, Ulta, or Nordstrom. If you dont own one you may also use the palm of your hand. 3. Rinse the brush under running water until the water runs clear. Then wipe the brush on a cloth to take off the excess water, this will also form the bristles back to their natural shape. Fall Decor

Now, these are NOT DIYs but fall is my absolute favorite season. Therefore i always fall inlove with cute home decor. If you are in a budget, the dollar store, walmart and the target dollar spot always have cute seasonal items. I got these two kitchen towels on the pictures down below along with a scarecrow, fall sign, fall leaves, and turkey toothpick holder at the dollar store for only 1$ each! It's unbelievable how many things you can find! I also went to a yardsale and found a basket full of small pumkin decor and placed them in different areas of my home to celebrate the fall season ♡
